- Achilles' Heel is based on the real life term meaning a person's weak point. In Greek mythology, Achilles was a soldier of war who was predicted to die young. His mother, in order to prevent the death, washed his body in the river Styx, which was said to offer invulnerability. Because of the way he was dipped in, Achilles' heel was not washed by the water and when he was older, he ultimately died from a poison arrow to the heel.
- The design on the log itself is that of a tomoe.
