The Mermaid Magic Power, also known as Mermaid Transformation Technique, is Yae's distinctive ninjutsu. By channeling her chi, she can change her form to that of a mermaid so she can swim freely underwater.
While in this form, she usually can swim faster by repeatedly pressing the [JUMP] button. If the button is held down, she will build up power and then dash forward at great speed in a powerful attack, damaging anything on her path. In addition, she is not restricted on using her bazooka while underwater.
This magic power cannot be used on land; if attempted, Yae will just get covered in scales from head to toe and then quickly turn back to normal.
