Taisen! Bomberman (対戦！ ボンバーマン Taisen! Bonbāman?, lit. "Battle! Bomberman") is a video game released on iOS and Android devices exclusively in Japan. It was released on January 2016 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Bomberman series. It was developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo and published by Konami.
Goemon Bomber, a bomberman based on Goemon from the Ganbare Goemon series, was introduced in this game (he later reappeared in Super Bomberman R). Other bombermen based on Konami franchises include Pastel Bomber and Light Bomber, both inspired by characters from the TwinBee series.
Gameplay[]
Single player[]
Progressing through a total of 100 levels, all kept in the traditional gird-like style, White Bomberman has to destroy blocks with bombs and defeat Barom-like enemies in order to reach the next level.
Multiplayer[]
Multiplayer mode can be played by up to four players simultaneously. Players battle against each other in traditional grid-like mazes. Besides online, the mode also features cross-platform, meaning that players can connect iOS devices with Android devices.
